MCG Global, formed in 1995 by Vincent A. Wasik and S. Garrett Stonehouse, is a private equity firm leading leveraged buyout acquisitions and growth capital investments in undervalued middle market companies. The firm’s investment strategy is centered upon the Principal’s active involvement in the post-closing strategic direction and operational improvement of its portfolio companies and the implementation of its Value Creator Model. This investment and operational philosophy has led to a 2.5 times return of capital and a compound annual return rate of 37%.

MCG Global believes that its ability to draw on a global network of affiliated financial advisory firms, together with a number of senior operational executives, provides it with unique expertise in adding value to targeted enterprises. With experience in transaction structuring, equity and debt placement, and international operations, MCG Global has handled the most complex of transactions even where the company has been financially troubled or strategically misdirected. MCG Global leads transactions and has consummated multi-national acquisitions, public offerings (domestically and in foreign markets), high-yield bond offerings and numerous refinancings and recapitalizations on behalf of its portfolio companies.

Operating Managers

In order to broaden its existing operational focus, the Principals of MCG Global have assembled a network of Operating Managers who bring valuable direct industry experience to both the due diligence process and post-closing management of the portfolio company to support or, in some instances, replace management. Because of their extensive industry connections, the Operating Managers are also an excellent source of high quality deal flow due to their understanding and appreciation of the MCG Global investment philosophy.
