Vincent A. Wasik – Principal & Co-Founder

Mr. Wasik is a Co-Founder and a Principal of MCG Global. With MCG Global and previously as President of Fidelco Capital Group, Mr. Wasik has been the sponsor of numerous private equity and leveraged buyout transactions. Mr. Wasik has served as Chairman and CEO of National Car Rental System, Inc., after leading the $1.6 billion leveraged buyout from Household International in 1986. As Vice President of Wesray Corp., he participated in a number of transactions such as Gibson Greeting Cards, RCA Mobile Communications and Avis Car Rental. Prior to Wesray he strategically positioned Holland America Line as one of the industry’s leading upscale cruise lines, serving as the company’s President and CEO. In addition, he has been Executive Vice President and a Board Member of the Hertz Corporation. Currently Mr. Wasik is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Velocity Express, and as of July 29, 2003 he was named President and Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Wasik is also an Advisory Board Member of Mitchell’s/Richards, the largest upscale clothing retailer in Connecticut.

Mr. Wasik holds both a Bachelor of Arts (Cum Laude) and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Michigan State University. He has served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, receiving the Army Commendation Medal for outstanding achievements. In addition, he has been awarded the Chicago Tribune Silver Award for Leadership.


S. Garrett Stonehouse – Principal & Co-Founder

Mr. Stonehouse is a Co-Founder and a Principal of MCG Global. Mr. Stonehouse has undertaken senior responsibility in the due diligence, structuring and consummation of leveraged buyout transactions, growth capital investments, initial public offerings, refinancings and high-yield bond offerings in a number of middle market companies in addition to active involvement in the strategic planning, development and ongoing financial markets activity of the businesses. Prior to MCG Global, Mr. Stonehouse served as Vice President of Fidelco Capital Group where he performed due diligence, industry research, financial modeling and transaction analysis and structuring for leveraged buyout opportunities. He began his career at GE Capital initially as part of their Management Development Program and advancing on to become Manager of Marketing and Cross Promotion.  Currently, Mr. Stonehouse is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of both Imperial Headwear, Inc. and Novations Group, Inc.; and serves on the Board of Directors to New World Restaurant Group, Inc.

Mr. Stonehouse received his Bachelor of Arts degree (Summa Cum Laude) from Boston College with a double major in Economics and Mathematics.


Thomas J. Golon  - Director

Mr. Golon is a Director of MCG Global where he is responsible for due diligence, industry research, financial modeling and transaction structuring analysis. Prior to joining MCG as a Financial Analyst in 1998, Mr. Golon was employed by Bankers Trust Company of New York as an Assistant Treasurer in their Computer Systems and Processing Division responsible for planning, budgeting and financial reporting. Mr. Golon was a Business Analyst at Brown Brothers Harriman before joining Bankers Trust, responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, client service and various system implementation projects. Currently, Mr. Golon is a member of the Board of Directors of Novations Group, Inc.

Mr. Golon received his Bachelor of Business Administration (Cum Laude) from Ohio University where he majored in Finance and was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Honor Society and Golden Key National Honor Society. Mr. Golon received his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
